About us

Founded in 1974 by Erol Sevimlisoy, Sevimli Architecture Restoration and Decoration Office is carrying out architecture and interior design, restoration, decoration and construction projects in several fields and in different regions of Turkey.

Erol Sevimlisoy

Architect / Founder

Achieved his Architecture degree from Fine Arts Academy Faculty of Architecture between 1970-1974. Still continues to work as an architect in Istanbul and London.

Takes part in the restoration as well as interior design and construction projects of the Georgian, Victorian and modern structures in London, and oversees the authentic architectural restoration, reconstruction and construction projects of the contemporary wooden and stone mansions, manors from Byzantine, Ottoman and recent era located in Bosphorus. Also, he carries out several other architecture and art activities.

Emrah Sevimlisoy

Architect - Interior Designer

He started his art and architecture education in Art & Design Foundation, London and then transferred to Interior Design program in Middlesex University. After receiving his M.A. in Product Design in Domus Academy, Milano under the supervision of Antonio Citterio, Emrah Korkut Sevimlisoy returned to London and "Architecture & Interiors Master” program in 'Royal College of Art' under the supervision of the world-renowned architects such as Nigel Coates, Will Allsop, and Zaha Hadid.

Right after his graduation, Architect - Interior Designer (M.A.) Emrah Sevimlisoy co-founded his own office in London with Architect Erol Sevimlisoy. Together with his team of architects and interior designers in Designembassy Ltd. in London, he continues to work in the architectural and interior design projects of the prestigious residences, villas, flats, and offices in Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Belgravia, and Kensington.

Our Works

Sevimli Architecture carries out many projects, including but not limited to the historical wooden mansion, stone building, manor, residence and modern villa, hotel and business center projects.

Especially the historical structures restored by the company in Bosphorus are respectful to the traditional Civil Turkish Architecture in Bosphorus. With their subtle details such as eaves, bay windows, wooden shutters, these project add value to the contemporary Bosphorus architecture.
